Let me repeat again.

As much as I may look like the super cool Sailor Mars, the same hair colour and wearing a similar dress, kind, brave, super cute and all, this is NOT A COSPLAY.

For the how many times I've said - LEARN TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE. You can see I don't wear a choker on my forehead. (FYI I love Sailor Moon but no cosplays.)

Anyway. Ran out of places to shoot and went to the sea. A total disaster. Winds at the sea totally messed up my hair. Some sea equation or what? The more perfect the hair, the stronger and douchier the winds.

Today's look is about forcefully combining sailor + horror-kawaii items to recreate a pin-up (Asian) girl look. Not too bad an end result though! I thought I wouldn't have been able to pass off a pinup-ish look (because I am Asian and some times I forget I am Asian). Still looks okay! Many thanks to my ikemen man restyling everything on the spot at the beach + newly acquired divine powers from Goddess Photoshop, I was able to salvage my hair. No thanks again, sea typhoon breeze.

 

Creating a horror-kawaii look is simple. Just stick an eyeball, a zombie limb or a bone onto your hair. I chose www.bornprettystore.com (BPS) 's skeleton hair pin, one item that I always wanted to have! It came in a thousand colours and I was so lost! Picked a red and a blue at the every end. Almost in tears when both came in the mail. TOO AWESOME! United Kingdom brand KREEPSVILLE666 carries similar ones too! They even have skeleton necklaces and in diamante! Gosh! Want them for my wedding!

Sailor dress not from Sailor Moon but from Harajuku brand kawi jamele. KJ's stuff are designed by J-POP singer Milliyah Kato. Cool gal.

Satchel with regards from my dearest friend and sis Sheen. She definitely has the best fashion sense! Can't wait to see her back at home soon!

The Gym Leader

My other job option could be that of a ghost type Pokémon Gymleader. I could beat the crap out of my Kanto area Psychic-type counterpart Sabrina.

The Gym Leader outfit is the perfect Harajuku horror-kawaii theme, which is my personal style. The Bony Hand Peace dress from Harajuku brand Candy Stripper is the most expensive dress that I ever bought...an unimaginable $400!! (Japanese yen exchange rate was crazy in 2012!) It was totally worth though, since you don't come across a dress this good any other day.

Spiritual Punk

Sorry for the long absence! Work has been crazy the day I returned to Tokyo. So during the final weekend in Singapore I did a mix and match of my two favourite brands, Harajuku brand CANDY STRIPPER and lovely Kate-Katy from Korea which always give me styling tests.

Here's my treasure from CANDY STRIPPER - Spiritual Punk culottes (skirt) in Mint colour, an item rarer than a Rare Candy from their 2012 SS Spritual Punk series. Bought this at their Shinjuku Store.

And then here's the first Kate-Katy x Candy Stripper look. The theme is Kids' Punk.

My dad would kill me if he found out that I climbed onto his antique side table to shoot this outfit. The ultra cute top is from Kate-Katy, socks from Adidas Originals and I am holding yet another rare item, a Sweeney Todd Bear Brick.

Oh yes, pardon the socks-only part 'cos no shoes are allowed inside an Asian house.

Fabulous creepers you say. Colour's nice and all but the soles wore off the second or third time I put them on. They have been incinerated awhile ago at the garbage centre I guess!

These killer printed sockings. Unfortunately they are starting to tear because I use, or rather abuse them too much and I am already begging the staff at Candy Stripper to help tell their designers to create more awesome ones for this year's AW season!! Praying praying!!

最近はまってるスタイル！！♪♪ Zipper (OCT 2011)にも出ててめっちゃうれしい！！毎日ハロウィンみたいな感じだね。ちょいロック/ロック/パンクの進化系とも言えるかな。うちはいつもちょいロックとロックのカッコしてるので、HORRORかわいいも挑戦してみようかなと思った♪ (≧▽≦)

You never thought "horror" could be this cute. Recently I started exploring the Horror-kawaii style. It's like Halloween everyday or the advanced version of a-little Rock, Rock or Punk styles. This style came out in Zipper's Oct 2011 issue too and yes, I was pretty excited! (≧▽≦)

Of course I'm a proud owner of those popular eyeball hairbow bobbles!! HA!! ヽ（￣￣∇￣￣）ノ  Horror-kawaii accessories may at first appear to look grotesque, but they are suprisingly pretty easy to mix and match with a variety clothes, especially with rock/punk styles. I thought my mum would be very angry when she sees my hairbow bobbles, but she surprised me by not commenting at all. Well that was unexpected. The purple variation of the hairbow bobbles look really cute too!! Should I should I?

During spring(?) summer(?) I bought these goo and mini handcuff earrings. They coincidentally fit well into the Horror-kawaii theme. Aren't they just cute? You can get these at Monomania at La Foret Harajuku.

Now I really want this skull bracelet but only UK/US sites are selling. I'm not sure they are reliable so I dare not order it yet. But this is really pretty. Only if it was sold at Amazon I could have bought it immediately...
